The system behind the wash
The challenge
Löður’s stations have wash bays, timed booths, vacuums and gates. Löður needed one system that connected all of it to payments, customers and staff.
The solution
The first Löður app launched in 2017. Since then the system has grown: a backend that talks to the machines at the stations in real time, self-service pages for customers and an admin system where Löður’s staff manage products, prices and wash cards. In 2023, a POS app was added at the stations.
Operations and development
Stokkur hosts the system on Google Cloud, monitors it and keeps adding new features, such as gift codes, discount codes and new stations.
